Developer Aeroplane Heaven has released the P-47D Razorback for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The P-47D Thunderbolt, commonly known as the “Jug” and sometimes referred to as the “Razorback” due to its distinctive cockpit configuration, was one of the most formidable fighters used by the United States during World War II. Developed by Republic Aviation, the P-47 was a large, rugged, and heavily armed aircraft that served primarily as a fighter-bomber.
The product includes a detailed exterior model, landing gear wells and the inners of the Pratt and Whitney engine. The team has crafted the models based on detailed plans and drawings, whilst also making sure that it looks appropriate for the simulator. Furthermore, there is authentic cockpit details, full PBR materials and a WWise sound package. The flight model is based on real world data and those who purchase outside of the Marketplace ecosystem will be able to enjoy the modelled weapons.
If you want to pick it up, you can do so from Aeroplane Heaven’s store for $33.99.
