The BBC show sees a group of celebrities race against the clock to get to their final destination in the fastest time – but without using an aeroplane.

McFly’s  Harry Judd and his mum Emma were very much in the lead at the start of the instalment.

And Alex Beresford and his dad Noel were a whopping 26 hours behind them.

However the weatherman soon caught up with them.

Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their confusion.

One tweeted: “As much as I love Celebrity Race Across the World, I’m fed up with the random start times that seem to favour those in last place.

“How can someone leave 26 hours behind the leaders and get a ferry first thing in the morning, when Harry and his mum got a ferry the day before at 12.”

Another replied: “I noticed this as well. They left 26 hours later yet got a ferry several hours earlier the next day.

“They were definitely given a 6/8 hour boost.”

Last month the Beeb axed the show just hours before it was set to premiere.

The programme was set to begin on Wednesday 6th September, but following the devastating earthquake in Morocco, the BBC has taken the decision to postpone the premier.

All Saints singer Mel, 48, is also taking part with her mum, Helene, as well as British Racing Driver Billy, 24, and his sister, Bonny.
