Aeroplane Heaven has given us a new update on their Hawker Hurricane. The developer originally announced the classic warbird in November last year, and stated that the plane was scheduled to be released before Christmas. This release window came and went, and Aeroplane Heaven did not provide any clarification on the Hawker Hurricane anymore, until now.
A new post on their Facebook page indicates that the famous aircraft should be “out soon”. In a separate post, the developer shared a small teaser with the flyby of the Hurricane. Although no exact features were shared, we do know that the release will include the Sea Hurricane as well as a tropical version of the aircraft. From previous previews we know that the aircraft is supposed to come with GSE as well, such as a ground power unit and an era-appropriate refueling truck.
Aeroplane Heaven has several projects under development at the moment, such as an Avro Lancaster and several Spitfires. The developer did not share any progress on these projects, some of which have been under development for several years at this point.
