An aeroplane has crashed at an airfield in North Yorkshire with two people being rushed to hospital.
North Yorkshire Police, alongside the fire service and the ambulance service have rushed to an airfield in Church Fenton after an aeroplane crashed earlier today. They were called to the crash, involving a single light aeroplane, just after 5.10pm today.
There were two people in the plane, two men in their 70s, and both have been taken to hospital with their injuries.

North Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency service have attended reports of an air crash at an airfield in Church Fenton this evening.
“Police, fire and ambulance services were called to a collision involving a single light aeroplane just after 5.10pm today.
“Both of the plane’s occupants, two men in their 70s, have been taken to hospital with injuries.”
