Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person died in a plane crash reported near Groveland.The crash occurred around 1: 30 p.m. around 6548 Groveland Airport Road in Lakeland. The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft was an unregistered Dragonfly Experimental aircraft.According to the FAA, the victim was identified as the aircraft’s pilot and was the only person on board.The crash remains under investigation.
